2020 RockIt Fall HS Basketball League

7-week season. Games played Monday - Friday

Week 1:  Sept 14-18

Week 2:  Sept 21-25

Week 3:  Sept 28-Oct 2

Week 4:  Oct 5-9

Week 5:  Oct 12-16

Week 6:  Oct 19-23

Week 7:  Oct 26-30


·       Guaranteed to play a minimum of 7 games

·       All Games played on RockIt Main Court

·       Players will be placed on a team with their High School teammates

·       One-hour games (20-minute halves)

·       Hours: Girls' games will be played at 8 pm and Boys' games will be played at 9 pm

·       Registration opens on July 1 and closes on August 28, 2020. Full game schedule released on Sept 7th, 2020

·       Practices, Skill Sessions, and Playoffs are NOT included in the Fall HS League


•  Player fee = $80  (Late Registration: $100/Player)*

•  Maximum of 10 HS Boys teams AND Maximum of 10 HS Girls teams

* Registration Link and League Waiver will be emailed directly to the player. Registration deadline: August 28, 2020.


·       No spectators in the gym

·       All games will be live-streamed on Facebook– “RockIt Sports Basketball League” page

·       Only 2 coaches allowed on the bench and 1 scorekeeper

·       Roster must be minimum of 8 players (we suggest a maximum of 12 players)

·       RockIt Jerseys available but MUST be returned at the end of the season

·       1-hour games – 20-minute halves running clock. Stopped clock in last 2 minutes of each half

·       5-minute warmup provided

·       No practices, playoffs, and skill sessions offered with this league

·       Players must bring their own water bottles and towels

·       A strict list of safety guidelines (TBA) will be provided to each player before the league starts. These rules must be followed every time they walk into the facility. There will be a supervisor on duty to help with the process

·       Payments will be refunded (or prorated) if shut down does occur

*We are unsure what the VHSL and VISAA rules will be this Fall. We are hopeful that teams will be able to be coached by their HS Head Coach. However, a contingency plan of a team parent or team representative to lead will be in place.

These are unprecedented times and a “new normal” has emerged. It is RockIt’s goal to provide Richmond area high school players an opportunity to play with their school teammates this Fall…but in the safest way possible! We ask for everyone’s patience as we navigate how to best serve families while still following Covid-19 precautions.
