RockIt Sports Policies, Waivers & Code of Conduct

Welcome to RockIt Sports. By registering for any RockIt program or using our website and facilities, you agree to the policies outlined below. These policies ensure safety, clarity, and a positive environment for all players, parents, coaches, and visitors.

1. Terms of Service

1.1 Eligibility

To participate in RockIt Sports programs, families must provide accurate registration information and agree to all required waivers and policies. Parents or legal guardians must approve participation for minors.

RockIt reserves the right to remove or deny participation to any individual who violates policies or behaves in a way that compromises safety or program integrity.

1.2 User Responsibilities

By using RockIt’s website or services, you agree to:

• Follow all facility, safety, and program rules
• Provide truthful information
• Maintain secure account credentials
• Treat staff and families with respect
• Use RockIt resources for lawful purposes only

Failure to comply may result in suspension or removal without refund.

1.3 Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Fees are due at registration unless otherwise stated. Refund rules appear in Section 4 below.

RockIt may cancel or adjust programming due to weather, low enrollment, or operational issues. When this occurs, RockIt may issue credits, reschedule sessions, or provide alternate programming at its discretion.

1.4 Use of Third-Party Platforms

RockIt uses systems like TeamSnap and League Apps and similar vendors for registration, scheduling, and communications. Your use of these platforms is subject to their individual terms and privacy policies.

1.5 Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RockIt is not liable for:

• Injuries resulting from sports participation
• Lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
• Website errors, downtime, or data issues
• Actions of third-party service providers

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use of the services.

2. Code of Conduct

RockIt aims to create a safe, competitive, and respectful environment. All participants agree to uphold the following standards.

2.1 Parents & Guardians

Parents agree to:

• Promote positivity and sportsmanship
• Refrain from arguing with referees or coaches
• Respect all players and families
• Support athletes without coaching from the sideline
• Avoid harassment, profanity, or disruptive behavior

Violation may result in removal from a game, program, or facility.

2.2 Players

Players agree to:

• Give full effort in practices and games
• Show respect to coaches, referees, and opponents
• Avoid taunting, foul language, or unsportsmanlike behavior
• Follow instructions and stay within permitted areas
• Maintain a team-first attitude

Repeated violations may result in loss of playing time or dismissal.

2.3 Coaches

Coaches agree to:

• Serve as positive role models
• Teach fundamentals, teamwork, and effort
• Communicate respectfully with families
• Prioritize athlete safety
• Avoid yelling at officials or opponents

2.4 Spectators

Spectators agree to:

• Cheer positively
• Avoid negative commentary or confrontation
• Respect facility rules and staff

RockIt maintains zero tolerance for verbal or physical abuse in any form.

3. Participation Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Sports activities involve risks including collision, falls, and other injuries. By participating, families acknowledge that:

• They voluntarily assume all risks associated with athletic activity
• They release RockIt Sports, its owners, staff, and partners from liability for injuries or accidents unless prohibited by law
• They will follow safety instructions and use equipment appropriately

Additional waivers may be required for certain programs.

4. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated in program-specific registration materials:

League Fees: Non-refundable once the season begins
Camps & Clinics: Refunds available up to 7 days before the start date
Drop-In Programs: Non-refundable
Weather or Facility Issues: RockIt may reschedule or issue credit

Refunds issued at RockIt’s discretion will be provided as credits unless otherwise noted.

5. Social Media & Photo/Video Policy

RockIt Sports is committed to promoting a positive, safe, and respectful environment both on and off the court. This policy governs how RockIt uses digital content and how families interact on our platforms.

5.1 Content Created by RockIt

RockIt may capture and share:

• Photos
• Game highlights and short clips
• Player interviews and testimonials
• Behind-the-scenes or training moments
• Team features

This content may appear on:

• TikTok
• Instagram
• Facebook
• YouTube
• Official website (rockitsports.net)

5.2 Consent & Opt-Out

Participation in RockIt programs grants permission for RockIt to use images and video for promotional or educational purposes.

To opt out, email mmurrer@rockitsports.net with:

• Athlete’s full name
• Team
• Request for exclusion

Opt-out applies moving forward and cannot be applied retroactively.

5.3 Family & Athlete Behavior Online

The following are strictly prohibited on RockIt-controlled platforms:

• Offensive, inappropriate, or disrespectful content
• Harassment or arguments involving players, coaches, families, or officials
• Sharing private player information
• Posting confidential team communications

RockIt may remove posts or comments and take disciplinary action as needed.

5.4 Tagging & Sharing

Families may share RockIt content. When doing so:

• Tag @rockitsports
• Do not alter or distort official content
• Respect all opt-out requests

5.5 Privacy & Safety

RockIt will never post:

• Home addresses
• Phone numbers
• Academic details

We use discretion when tagging or naming athletes.

By registering for any program, entering the facility, or using the RockIt Sports website, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to:
