3. Consent and Opt-Out
By participating in RockIt Sports programs, families acknowledge that images, videos, and related content of their athlete may be used for promotional, educational, and informational purposes.
If you do not wish for your athlete to appear in any photos, videos, or online content, please submit a written request via email to Mmurrer@rockitsports.net with your child’s full name and team. We will make every effort to exclude your athlete from future content.
Requests must be made in writing and will apply moving forward (not retroactively).
4. Respectful Conduct on Social Media
We encourage positive engagement and team spirit online! However, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited on any RockIt Sports platform or page:
Posting comments, photos, or videos that are disrespectful, offensive, or inappropriate.
Sharing confidential team information, private player details, or internal communications.
Engaging in arguments, harassment, or negative discussions about players, coaches, referees, or other programs.
RockIt Sports reserves the right to remove any post or comment that violates these standards and, if necessary, take further disciplinary action.
5. Tagging and Sharing
Families are welcome (and encouraged!) to share and tag official RockIt Sports content on their personal pages.
When doing so:
Please tag us using @rockitsports.
Do not alter, crop, or modify official photos or videos in a way that changes context or misrepresents our program.
6. Athlete Privacy and Safety
To protect our athletes:
RockIt Sports will never post personally identifying information such as home addresses, phone numbers, or academic details.
Tagging or naming players is optional and will only be done with appropriate discretion.
Any parent who has opted out of media participation will have that choice fully respected.
7. Questions or Concerns
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy or specific content, please contact: Mmurrer@rockitsports.net
8. Policy Updates
RockIt Sports reserves the right to modify or update this Social Media Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and communicated to families as needed.
